Please dont get sick of me talking & showing pictures from Akiba. I cant help it but I really love Akiba cuz It's really a heavenly district for a geek & otaku like me. Anyway, we willl be going to 2 places today which is Akiba & Ikebukuro (again). Firstly, I'm coming back to ドン・キ / Don Quijote to see more kawaii pink stuff (also other things).

It's so unfair that there are so many kawaii pink stuffs in ドン・キ / Don Quijote !!! Yet, I cant buy them cuz no point to buy so many kawaii pink stuffs if we havent get our own flat / house yet. Cuz I kinda has this dream to make our house looks super kawaii & lolita, lol. And those diamond stickers also gorgeous, really wanna buy them to stick on my Pink Sony Ericsson Handphone, Rose Pink Nintendo DS Lite & Pink Slim PSP (yeah, I know I'm a Pink maniac / freak ) but worried it may spoil the gadget since it has glue or glitters on the base of the stickers/diamonds, so I had to give it a miss before I regret getting my pink gadgets spoilt cuz of merely my fetish to make them more bling bling.

So, after from ドン・キ / Don Quijote, we went back to TAITO STATION arcade we saw on the way to ドン・キ / Don Quijote.

While Hubby was playing, There was this middle-aged man (I think he's a Japanese) with his cabin-sized suitcase saw Hubby playing then he sat opposite (the other side) of the arcade to indirectly challenge Hubby (so they play againts each other) so there goes the fight...

I didnt expect that Hubby is losing againts that middle-age looking Japanese man. Hmm, perharps he's one of those arcade hardcore gamer who always spend time at Arcade whenever got time / money. Anyway, after that we went to get our lunch since we're quite hungry. We decided to eat at Matsuya (again) since it's nearby & opposite only.

If you ever wonder why we keep eating Gyudon or Beef Bowl all the time cuz we cant get enough of it since we cant find in Singapore with this quality & this affordable price (dont tell me to eat at Singapore Yoshinoya, its lousy & waste of money ). Here in Matsuya, not only it's おいしい but also fast-serving food so we dont waste time eating, rather to use our time to do window shopping or going around. After I tried the Gyudon Kare, I still prefer the normal Gyudon eventhough the one with curry is delicious but you can taste the meat more without curry.

Anyway, after we're done at Akiba, we're going to Ikebukuro to explore a bit more. Especially Tokyu Hands. So here are some pictures from Ikebukuro, enjoy !

That Batman fella looks pretty real, eh? He's not real cuz this is aint Hollywood haha. Cant remember what this Batman for as we didnt take notice further more. Its either they're selling the replica batman super detailed costume (I dont think it's the original costume... or it is ? cant be) or they're selling the whole batman fella as a human-sized figurine (which is cool yet kinda creepy in the same time) or it's just a decoration not for sale, God knows.

Anyway, let's move on ~

We really had no Idea what's all this Rescue Food all about. It's like some cooked food packed which can be consumed right away once its opened. Is it for emergency purpose like where you trapped somewhere & cant get out for whatever reason is, then you got no food supplies ?.

It's a good thing that they invent these things for emergency purpose, but I really wonder how many people do actually buy these stuffs for 'that emergency day' to come ?.

Well anyway, after we got what we need at Tokyu Hands, we head back to hotel to do our stuffs (will explain later on about what kind of stuffs we'll do). Oh, encounter a 100 yen shop on the way so we stop a while there.

I was amazed with 100 yen shop in Japan, you can get lots of things here from household appliance, utilities, accessories, stationary, snacks, etc. The best thing about 100 yen shop is that their stuffs are damn cheap & yet they have so many かわいい pinky stuff there. Before we head to hotel, we decided to have dinner (as usual, Matsuya again, lol).

Yeah, yeah I know we're such a Gyudon Beef Bowl freak. We just love them & cant get enough of them ! Oh, we saw Yoshinoya on the way to Hotel too. It's located quite nearby to the hotel so perharps next time we can have lunch / dinner there, then after we ate Yoshinoya in Japan we can compare to the one in Singapore.

And then, we reached at hotel. Well, it's the earliest day we come back to hotel cuz of a reason. Anyway, here are some photos of what we got today.

( 1st time see black tissue with kawaii pax with advertisement behind )

Well, it's seems in Japan you dont need to buy tissues cuz its basically free !!!. Why ? cuz people passing tissue around in the streets like how people normally pass a flyer. The smart idea is that they use the back side of the tissue pax as a advertisement media. Perharps, if it was a flyer nobody will take it cuz since it's useless info for some of them. But if it's tissue, people will take it regardless what kind of advertisement it is cuz everyone will need a tissue eventually, pretty smart eh ?.

Geez, Singapore really should do this thing too instead charging people freaking $ 1.00 SGD for a pax of tissue in the streets (usually aunty or uncle who are a beggar). No offense though, but I think the reason why nobody want to follow Japan's Idea in Singapore cuz some Singaporean are just plain selfish & kiasu over "Free" stuffs. Some aunties / uncles may bring the whole family just to get "Free" tissues, you never know.

You all must be wondering what are those Bubble wraps, tape & scissors for ?. Well, actually we're going to throw all our figurines boxes / packaging away since it's taking too much space (we even had to buy a new cabin luggage cuz we dont have enough space to put all of our shopping spree stuffs). It's really such a waste & I wish I cant just keep the figure inside the packaging, but since we have no choice so we gotta throw all the boxes away. Then, we'll wrap in layers of bubble wrap of each figurines to avoid any crack or break parts cuz once a figure break, even after you repair it with a glue, the "value" is just kinda "lost".

So, we have to really use our time today to wrap our figurines with those bubble wrap & pack them in our luggage so we will know wether its enough for all of those figurines we bought or not... hopefully it will, otherwise we may have to buy more luggage. I have a feeling that we'll bring back 2 luggage + 2 cabin luggage from Japan cuz of all these figurines & stuffs, lol. Sounds pretty crazy cuz I only bring 1 luggage with 1 empty luggage & 1 empty cabin bag, then when we're coming back its all fully packed.

Anyway, tomorrow we'll be going to Makuhari Messe for Tokyo Game Show 2008 ~ !!! so gotta wake up early to queue up for the entry ticket. Look forward for our next trip report regarding Tokyo Game Show 2008 !!! じゃ, またあしたね ~.
